I find I'm explaining myself often these days by saying
"I 've finally decided what I want to be when I grow up ..."
A great deal of things and experiences have brought me to this point in my life, and I am excited to be here, and embarking on a career in nursing. I was born in Quebec, but raised almost entirely in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. The youngest of three sisters, I was raised by a teacher (mother) and a professor (father) on a large farm in the country.
After graduating from high school I lived for another eight years in Canada, and then moved to the United States for 15 years. I have had many adventures in my travels, including several trips to Europe where my parents retired.
I have spent some time in university, but until now have not had the time to complete a program of studies, largely because of raising a family, which I absolutely loved doing! The proud mother of two grown children, I am finally chasing another dream which is nursing. I live in rural Antigonish County with my partner, pursue an active life of work, music, exercise, photography, friends and other hobbies.
